En route to civilization, a mysterious signal overrides the ship’s navigation and pulls Victoria and Galena into a cosmic arcade run by a bizarre psychic alien with a lonely heart.

The ship is hijacked toward a hidden asteroid base containing a fully functional cosmic-themed arcade from a bygone era. Its sole inhabitant is a playful and powerful rat-like psychic calling himself the god of the games. Strange and unfair arcade challenges reveal that he is not cruel so much as starved for interaction. Victoria and Galena ultimately win him over through empathy rather than skill, breaking his centuries of self-imposed isolation, and he asks to join them.
