One of Scur’s two spear-carrying escorts on the river expedition

Tetch is introduced, alongside Koss, as one of two escorts Scur brings on the expedition upriver to trace the source of the village’s poisoned water. Described as the slightly smaller of the pair, Tetch is also the quicker study: it is Tetch, not Scur, who first works out what Brink is fumbling to pantomime about an alkaline neutralizing agent, cutting through several minutes of confused gesturing to get Scur’s attention and make the connection.

Tetch fights alongside Scur when the corrupted refinery victim turns violent, and shares in the party’s grief on realizing exactly what, and who, that victim had been.
